The Digital Platform for Citizen Participation together.nets4dem.eu is committed to creating websites with inclusive design and accessible content, without visual or technological barriers, and for as many users as possible, in order to bring communication and the use of new technologies closer to citizens.

To achieve this objective, it applies the WAI (WAI Accessibility Initiative) standard adopted by the European Union. WAI standards have been developed in order to ease the understanding and implementation of accessibility on the web. The aim is for this platform to comply with the AA level accessibility guidelines defined by the WAI standards (WCAG 2.0, link).

This means that a person with a disability, as well as any other person in a situation that makes it difficult to access information on the platform, can reliably access the content.

The evolution of new information technologies, both in web and in multi-media formats, makes it possible to offer increasingly accessible content. In line with its commitment to accessibility, European Movement considers the diffusion of information on web accessibility and multiple devices as important services for users who require assistance to access their sites without difficulty.
